For seven years our FREE BANGS booth at Mosswood Meltdown — eight years doing free bangs in the park — has raised money for causes that matter. This year, proceeds go to Centro Legal de la Raza, defending Oakland's immigrant community since 1969.

"Centro Legal de la Raza is a nonprofit organization that supports low-income, immigrant, and communities of color in Northern and Central California through bilingual legal aid, education, and advocacy. Founded in 1969 in Oakland's Fruitvale neighborhood, Centro Legal focuses on immigrants' rights, tenants' rights, and workers' rights and promotes diversity in the legal field through its Youth Law Academy program."
